As I stood on Main Street tonight with a cup of hot cider in my hand surrounded by people who set their worries aside and watched Wishes, I realized something very special. This past January I was a guest here in the Magic Kingdom and as I watched Wishes with my father and good friend I made a wish on that “shooting star” that shot across the top of the castle. And my wish that night was to become a cast member here in Walt Disney World. My dream came true, and it did because I believed in it with all my heart and I worked hard to make it happen. Some of you may read this and roll your eyes and say “They are only fireworks” and that’s okay because to me Wishes, the Castle, this park are all more then just material things to me. The Cast members and the guest together create magic here that helps dreams come true. I am truly blessed to be a working cast member for the one, the only, the Mouse himself. After long days, frustrating guests and lack of sleep I am still very thankful for the opportunity I have been given to work here.

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights was absolutely incredible. Topped off with some snow and crisp cold air. Yesterday was one of those days that smacks you in the face oh so politely just to remind you that you are having the time of your life living here. I have so so much to be thankful for, I have been truly blessed.
Don’t mind me but for the next 5 days I will be wearing all black to mourn the end of the Jonas Brothers.
The Jungle Cruise, concept art, animatronics, and a rare photo transporting a 1962 animatronic elephant on the freeway between Disney’s Burbank studios and Disneyland. More vintage Disney.
